The Maine Coon, also referred to as the “Big Friendly Giant” are well known for their large proportions, and docile gentle characteristics. They are very intelligent with a dog like personality. They chirp and love to investigate. Our kittens are well socialized and exposed to children, and other cats. They are the perfect fit to every style of family !

* Only the breeding Maine Coons of this Cattery are DNA tested. Results are available to view on our Health page.

** BEAR (Brainstem Auditory Evoked Response) test is done only on our breeding cats with Blue Eyes. We will also test every Blue Eye kittens born in our Cattery before the adoption day to certify their health.

Do you have a waiting list ?

Yes, we have a waiting list, open all year round. You can find the application on the Adoption page.

The waiting list includes a Reservation Contract with a 500$ fee that will be applied to your deposit. Reservation rights will be offered in the same order they were received and you may decide to choose a kitten when your turn comes even if the kittens descriptions is not what you had on your contract. This Reservation Contract is valid for a maximum period of up to 24 months, from the date completed. Giving you more time and flexibility to find the perfect kitten for you. How can I reserve a kitten ?

You can reserve a kitten by contacting us by phone or email and we will gladly help you.

Reserving a kitten means you will be signing a Reservation Contract or a Sales Contract, depending age and availabilities of kittens, with a non-refundable fee that will be deducted from your deposit. You also have the option to reserve a kitten from a futur litter with a specific gender or colour with our Reservation Contract. With this contract, kittens will be presented from 2 weeks old and confirmation of your choice or refusal must be made before they turn 5 weeks old. Contact me for more information !

Are kittens sterilized before leaving?

No. For the development of your Maine Coon and to promote healthy growth, it is best to have the animal sterilized between 6 and 8 months. It is important to note that any reproduction is strictly prohibited without the agreement and obtaining of rights from Pure-Fection Maine Coons.

What is included in the price ?

Adoption sale price includes:

-Certificate of Registration or Register Slip with TICA (The International Cat Association) *

- 5 Generation Pedigree **

-micro-chip

-vaccination up to date/age

-veterinary health check-up with medical documents/certification.

-Deworming

-Treatment of Nexgard combo on adoption day. (30day effective protection against parasites)

-One month FREE with Trupanion medical insurance.

-1 year warranty to be free from congenital defects and more.

-A going home kit with: Raw food, can food, dry food, samples of their favorite treats, 2 Probiotics sachets, toys, 1 blanket, tooth brush kit, grooming brush, nail clipper and more. (Some products in the kit can vary)

* Certificate of Registration or Register Slip will only be release for you to process with T.I.C.A after sterilization proof from the buyer to the seller as per the Sales Contract requirements.

**5 Generation Pedigree is printed from a data base website and is NOT certified. You may order a certified certificate with T.I.C.A once you have registered your kitten/cat under your profile/ownership. If the kitten/cat is sold with Reproduction rights, a copy of the certified 5 Generation Pedigree of each parent will be included.

Can we visit the Cattery ?

No visits are allowed in are Cattery, meaning we are a closed cattery. This helps us to keep the optimal health of your kitten and our family.

We work with scheduled video calls, allowing you to see the kittens and for us to get to know each other better while answering to all your questions and concerns.

Mireille is fabulous. We had a wonderful experience adopting our kittens from Pure-fection Maine Coons. They were very healthy, well socialized and very cuddly when they came to their furever home.
